THE WILL OF GOD
INTRODUCTION
I would like to highlight 3 words here GODS-WILL, VISION & PRIORITY:-
VISION - What is your vision? We need to have a vision, else we are like a boat in the middle of the sea not knowing where to go.
Prov 29:18a Where there is no vision, the people perish.
This vision can be revealed thru the Word of God. The Words of God can give us a clear revelation of our vision.
PRIORITY - What is your priority? Many fail in deciding our priority. If we were invited to a party and a prayer meeting, what would we chose? If we had a chance to minister in London & Sudan, what would we chose? Our priority are usually worldly and not Godly. Let God be our priority. If we prioritize other things over God, be it friendship or events, it will not be a blessing.
Mat 6:33 seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
WILL OF GOD - What is Gods Will? One of the most important question we (have to) ask is "What is Gods Will?", "Why are we born? For what purpose? What is the purpose of our Life?". It comes down to 3 words, Will, Vision & Purpose. Moving one step further, it is Gods-Will, God-Given-Vision & Gods-Purpose in our Life (Or Our Lifes Purpose for God). Sometimes we confuse this with Our-Vision/Our-Will. Sometimes they are the same as Gods sometimes they are not. Surely God has a unique purpose or Vision for us in our life. Let us try to find that out.

IMPORTANCE
We need to know and do the Will of God :-
1) TO RECEIVE ANSWERS TO PRAYERS
John 9:31 God does not hear sinners; if anyone is a worshiper of God and DOES HIS WILL, HE HEARS THEM.
1 John 5:14 if we ASK anything ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, HE HEARS US.

2) TO PLAN OUR FUTURE ACCORDING TO HIS WILL
James 4:15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” (Acts 18:21)

3) TO BE PART OF THE FAMILY OF JESUS
Mat 12:50 whoever does the will of My Father is My mother, brother or sister. (Jn 15:15/Lk 11:28)

4) TO BE PREPARED TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD
Mat 7:21 Jesus: “Not everyone who says, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father. (Mk 9:38)
Luke 12:47 The servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do his WILL, shall be beaten with many stripes.

WHAT IS THE WILL OF GOD
SALVATION - To deliver all into slavation instead of death and perishing.
Gal 1:4 He gave Himself for our sins, that He might DELIVER us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father
Matt 18:14 it is not the will of your Father that one of you PERISH
John 6:39 This is the will of the Father, that of all He has given Me I should LOSE NOTHING, but should raise it up at the last day

SINLESS - To sanctify us with His Word and transform and renew us from wordliness to Godliness
1 Thess 4:3 this is the will of God, your SANCTIFICATION: that you should abstain from sin;
Rom 12:2 do not be conformed to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove good, acceptable & perfect will of God.

DO GOOD - To teach us to do good and prepare us to overcome hardships.
1 Peter 2:15 this is the will of God, by DOING GOOD you may silence the ignorance of foolish men
1 Peter 3:17 it is better, if it is the will of God, to SUFFER FOR DOING GOOD than for doing evil.

KEEP THE WORD - To obey and keep the Word.
Prov 29:18 he that KEEPETH the law, happy is he. (1 Cor 9:14 preachers of the gospel should live from the gospel)
Luk 11:28 Blessed are those who hear the word of God & KEEP IT

THANKFULL - To acknowledge and be thankfull to God.
1 Thess 5:18 in everything GIVE THANKS; this is the will of God in Christ for u.

EVANGELIZE - To spread the Truth and the Gospel
Acts 22:14 ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should KNOW HIS WILL, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth.
15 BE HIS WITNESS to all men of what you have seen and heard

CONCLUSION:- We need to know Gods Will so we can do Gods will to have a Blessed life as His children and be prepared to enter His Kingdom. His will is for us to be Saved, Sanctified, Transformed, Renewed, Sinless, Doing Good, Keeping His Words, being Thankfull to Him and spreading His Gospel so others can be blessed like us. This is the will of God for all of us, however God has a special purpose and vision for each one of us that we must seek from him alone, so we may know His will in our life.
