My name is Drupatti Sharma. I was born in Guyana in the Carribean. My fore fathers migrated from India. I come from a line of fore fathers who were priest of the Sharma clan, my dad is still a pujari and pandit.
My trauma started at a young age. My father was very hard on us. He was neither a good father nor a good husband. To get over this agony my mother took to drinking. She encouraged me to do so to forget all our worries.
I came to the USA to start my new and own life and joined school. But in my teenage, I ended up getting pregnant at a very young age. I still have my son as the only one beside me. I enjoyed life with friends, drinks, parties etc and was living a worldly life.
Later one day I was diagnosed with cancer. When i was in the hospital, none of my friends visited me nor even gave me a phone call. My husband lost hope on me and felt i would die soon. I relaized that friends were not true and now i realize that my only friend was Jesus. I got hungry for peace and happiness and finally was led to to church and came to know Jesus. I realized he took all my sins and made me new.
My friends, family, husband all left me after i accepted Christ. But my relationship with Christ is so great that nullifies what the world and worldly people can offer. Thru his wounds I am healed from Cancer. I have many times been prophecied that God has a will in my life and as my life goes on, I can see how true that is.
