Question #1) What is Salvation? How to attain Salvation? (By Pawan)
SALVATION can be defined as being saved from death, curse and sin and assurance of everlasting life with God. Lets try to understand it in 2 parts, the NEED & the SOLUTION. The NEED is strongly defined in RIG vedas. The SOLUTION is... (Read on)
INTRODUCTION
The concept of salvation is focused only in Hinduism & Christianity. Indians are the people who have searched for MOKSHAM/MUKTHI/RAKSHAN all the time. Sadhus, Gurus, Rishis all did it. They sat naked, without food, in the forest, worldless, friendless, familyless meditating... waiting for God to speak to them. All they sacrificed just that they wanted the truth. Indians best know the NEED for salvation whereas most of the european world dont even know about the need or meaning of salvation. Problem is if they dont know the question, they wont get the answer. VEDAS has the best questions. What is salvation, what is life after death, what is sin, how can we reach God, how to attain MOKSHAM/MUKTHI/RAKSHAN?

NEED FOR SALVATION - KARMA
Today I came to know the truth due to my search for the solution to Karma.
According to Karma, if we sin, we have to compensate for the sin, we have to pay the price.

SOLUTION TO KARMA
NEW-INDIAN KARMA - If you did wrong, compensate with a right. Net sum of all good and bad karmas decide if we can attain salvation or not.
VEDIC KARMA - If you did wrong, either you or someone in your close family has to pay the price sometimes with life.
Both are correct. In first case, If I spent 1000$ for a Gift to another lady, I regret I apologize, I get a better gift to my wife. She may understand (provided I didnt do adultery)
But Not all sins can be compensated. If I damaged somones hand in a fight, I cant repay him his hand back. If I secrectly slept with another woman for 1 day, doing the same for 1000 days with my wife will not erase it. My wife will never forgive me.
Conclusion - According to new karma def, some bad actions can be replaced by good action. Sad news is, not all sins are compensatable. According to todays hindusm, you cannot clear your bad karmas in this generation and have to do it in the next life. Hindus understand the weightage of sin. According to Vedas, Only solution to sin is to pay the price of death/blood.

SIN, WHO ARE SINNERS ?
We are all sinners. Sin gets passed on to the generations. When one suffers from SickleCell anemia, Aids, Drugs, the kids suffer the same. When we sin, our kids also suffer.
Exo 20:5 I am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations
Mat 27:25 (all the JEWISH people forced the Romans to Kill Jesus and said), "Let His blood be on us and on our children." (Thus asking for the curse).
Rom 3:23 All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us

HOW TO PAY THE PRICE - LIFE, DEATH, BLOOD & SACRIFICE
Rom 6:23 wages of sin is death / Rom 5:21 sin reigned in death / 1 Cor 15:56 sting of death is sin
Sin accumulated to death. Death can be equaled to shedding of blood. Because, life is in the blood. so shedding of blood is a sign of paying the price. Thats why people sacrificed with life of animals. ALL HINDU TEMPLES HAVE A SACRIFICIAL ALTAR AT THE ENTERNACE (BALI-BIDU). Today Muslims sacrifice a bakra as a tradition, because Abraham (Hazrat Ibrahim) did so. If Abrahim had to do it, so do we.
So every one whould bring a sacrificial lamb. He must place his hands on the animal and transfer the sins. It should be perfect and without any defect. Its bones must not be broken. Its blood should be shed. A price is paid.
Lev 11:11 The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.
Heb 9:22 Almost all things are purified with blood, without shedding of blood there is no remission.

PROBLEM WITH ABOVE SOLUTION
Sacrificing an animal is not the ultimate solution. Initially people paid for an animal and when they say the animal dying with blood all over the place for them, the expense and animals-death made them change. But over time it became a ritual, a tradition, like bakrit. Besides most sins cant be nullified by an animal.
Heb 10:4 It is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

ULTIMATE SOLUTION - JESUS IS THE ANSWER TO SALVATION
So if animal sacrifice cant help us much, to be saved from death, either me or someone in my family must die. Thus God came in human flesh and bore our sins. JESUS ALREADY PAID THE PRICE AND SHED HIS BLOOD AS A SACRIFICE. If you beleive, accept, repent you will be saved.

John 14:6 I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH & THE LIFE, none can come to the FATHER but thru me.
Act 4:12 No salvation in any other (than Jesus), there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
1 John 2:25 This is the promise that He has promised us - eternal life.
Rom 5:9 Justified by His blood, we shall be saved.
Rom 6:23 the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Heb 1:3 He had by Himself purged our sins
Heb 2:17 He had to be made like His brethren, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
John 1:29 Behold! Jesus, The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"
Mat 1:21 He will save His people from their sins.
Mat 26:28 Jesus:My blood of the new covenant, is shed for many for remission of sins.(1Cor 11:25/Heb 12:24)
Eph 1:7/Col 1:14 in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
1 John 2:2 He is the propitiation for our sins, also for the whole world.

Karma is the question and Jesus Christ is the answer.

Question #2) Is Jesus God or Son of God? How can God have a son? Is Jesus and God the one and the same? (By JS)
Jesus is part of the Triune God, the Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit. In order to give my very short answer to this, we can get the answer by finding out the most accurate & undebatable definition of Jesus:- JESUS IS WHO HE SAID HE WAS TO HIS DISCIPLES
(A) JESUS IS -> WHO HE SAID HE IS
No one can debate this, Jesus is the only person who knows who He is.
SO WHAT DID JESUS SAY HE WAS
Matt 4:7 Jesus says to Satan "Do not tempt the Lord your God".
Matt 11:27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
Matt 15:15 Jesus asked Peter, "who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." 17 Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
Matt 26:63 The high priest asked Jesus "are You the Son of God" 64 Jesus answered "It is as you said..." (Luke 22:70)
Rev 1:8/22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last" says the Lord, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
Rev 21:6 "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
(B) JESUS IS -> WHO HIS SELECTED DISCIPLES SAID HE IS
JESUS KNEW WHOM HE SELECTED
Weather he was divine as the Son of God (Christians) or just a prophet as Isa Nabi (Islam), one thing is for sure which both groups cant disagree. i.e., Jesus knew whom he selected as His 12 disciples. If he selected the wrong persons, then he is neither a prophet or Son of God. So if you agree that he is at least a prophet you must agree that he could prophecy what his 12 disciples would write about him in the Injeel/New-Testament. No one can debate this fact.
HIS SELECTED DISCIPLES WROTE HIS WORDS
The disciples that Jesus selected among 10000's of people wrote the NewTestament. They wrote what he said and what he said he was/is. Thus they wrote the truth. If they had lied, then Jesus made a wrong decision and hence cant be a prophet or son of God. If they had lied, they should have lied for a benifit, but they didnt get any benifit. Even when people executed them, they were asked to renounce what they believed, they replied "we would die for what we believe". They did not kill people to force them to believe. Instead Jesus and his disciples gave their life, for others lives not take them along. The first to beleive were the palestinians and arabs.
John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 17 Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.
SO WHAT DID HIS DISCIPLES SAY JESUS WAS
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
1 Tim 3:16 God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning,
2 Cor 5:19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
1 John 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Phil 2:5 Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7...taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

CONCLUSION:- JESUS is who He said He is. He is who His disciples say He is. He knew whom he selected as disciples from the rest, whom He chose to write His words & they did write His words which is the Gospel of the Injeel/New Testament. JESUS IS THE WORD-OF-GOD (KHALIMUTH_ULLAAH). How can God have a son? Is Jesus and God the one and the same?... (Comming soon)

Question #3) How is the paradise in heaven? (By JS)
That depends on what you want or believe in. The paradise mentioned in Quran JANNATH is not like the HEAVEN mentioned in Bible.
JANNATH will have everything one longs for in this world. There will be wealth, own family members, wine, food, "young boys", 72 houris (which are not humans). Sorry ladies no 72 men for you, nice try. :) This maybe paradise for the men, not sure about their wive who has to stand in queu with the other 71 :(
HEAVEN in Bible talks about nothing of the world. There will be one big family, spiritual food, (wisdom, words of God) and prayer & worship in heaven (sorry, no virgins or boys). It has everlasting life and not everlasting sex.

Bible verses (with links to verses) about :-
WINE & FOOD:-
Pro 23:20 Do not mix with winebibbers, Or with gluttonous eaters of meat; 21 For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, And drowsiness will clothe a man with rags.
Matt 4:4 Jesus said -Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
John 6:27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which I will give you

WOMEN:-
Matt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.

Conclusion:- Would God gift his children with food, money and sex in heaven? Are things that would get you stoned to death on heaven end up as a reward in heaven? Here is a clue-> With one wife, life is heaven, but with 72 wives it is jannath.
You can either goto heaven or goto jannath, your choice :)

Question #4) Does the world ends on the 23rd of December, 2012 due to cataclysmic events? (By Bozy)

Nobody knows the time of judgement day:-
Matt 24:36 of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only... 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
For DETAILED INFO ON THE END TIMES from the words of JESUS, Click here

1 Thess 5:2 the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

2 Pet 3:10 the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up

Question #5 a) As per Ps 51:5, Is a baby born into sin just because it is born in a particular religion ? (By Rozan)

You referenced:- Psalms 51:5 I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.

This is not religion specific and is general. This belief is strongly stated in Bible & Vedas. As per Karma or the beliefs of Vedas or Christianity, a child inherits the curse or sin of the parents or ancestors for about 4 generations unless a price has been paid.
Exo 20:5 you shall not bow down to Idols nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
Eg:- A drug baby called one who is born to a drug addict. During birth the mothers drugs flow into the baby and it feeds on it. so when it comes out it earns for the same. No matter what you say if parents have aids, the kids will get that too.

This being said, the conclusion is all are born into sin. It doesnt matter what faith you come in :-
Rom 3:10;23 10 There is none righteous, no, not one; 23 all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
1 John 1:8-10 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Thus I conclude that being born is sin is not religion specific, weather you believe it or not, it applies to all. However it varies from family to family, some families are more blessed and some are less. Does not exactly depend on the faith.

Question #5 b) If we are born as sinner, then how do we come out if it, if we grow up well ? (By Rozan)

"How the baby grows up" is not only generic but a partial answer. Here is the solution:-
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Act 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other , for there is no other name under heaven given among men than Jesus by which we must be saved.
When we first start driving a car, our driving history starts from 0, not that its negative due to accidents, but its still not good. When you apply for a homeloan, your credit level is 0 if you are new to that country, not that you are a thief or have been bankrupt, but that you dont have a good credit record or credit score. The same way all are born as a sinner, due to the sin of Adam and Eve.
Rom 5:12 through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned 16 the judgment came from one offense resulted in condemnation 17 by one man?s offense death reigned
1 Cor 15:22 as in Adam all die in Christ all shall be made alive
Thus we are born into sin. The only way out, is to know, accept, and believe in teachings of Christ and cleanse our sins with his sacrifice. If a baby is born into a christian house, it doesnt make a difference at all. Also after accepting Jesus, we need to continue in His teachings, if we go back to our sinfull lives, the sacrifice of Jesus is nullified and we are back to step one. No one can be perfect we can only try.
