Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
We want to update you about what God has been doing through our ministry in New England. Here are some praises and prayer requests:
1. On June 13 we arranged an Intercultural get-together meeting in Manchester, CT. The main purpose of the meeting was to build relationships. In these meetings we bring together our Christian and non Christian friends for interaction and knowing each other. The meeting went very well with a good response from the South Asian community, Hispanic, white Americans and African Americans. We praise God for many new contacts. In the meeting each group shared their own ethnic values and culture. There was also a “South Asian cultural show” from each ethnic group. It was quite attractive and was televised. We praise God for opening a big door for us through this event.
2. Last week we started a regular big door for us through this event worship service in Lynn, MA, as it is not convenient for our people to come to Cambridge regularly. Still they are part of Boston Bangla Church and they will meet alternate Fridays. Our Cambridge group will continue to meet for their worship service alternate Saturdays at Cambridge.
3. God gave us a vision to reach the South Asian student community at Brandeis University Campus in Waltham, MA. Last month we started our core prayer group at the campus and decided to meet twice a month for prayer to seek the Lord’s direction.
4. We Praise God for two new believers as they are growing in faith. They have been attending discipleship class and preparing themselves to witness to others.
Once again I thank you all for your support and encouragement. 13,000 Bengalis in New England can not be forgotten by the churches as they are the most unreached people group in the USA. Let us join our hands together for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS:
Thank you for your prayer support and partnership with us.
Yours in the service for His
Kingdom,
Paul S. Biswas (Founding Pastor)
