Dear Prayer Partners,

I would like to update you about our Christmas gathering on December 22. It
went very well. It was the first time for Boston Bangla Church to arrange
this type of meeting. We were all together 17 people. 7 Muslims and 2 of our
Hindu friends came to the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting was to build up a common understanding between
Muslims and Christian faith. The whole program was divided into two parts.
The first part was to show the prove both from the Bible and the Qur'an
regarding the angel's announcement to Vergin Mary about her con-ceive by the
Holy Spirit and the name of her child JESUS or ISA (The Qur'an 3:45;
19:16-22). He is called Messiah in the Qur'an. The Qur'an also acknowledge
that Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit. That's why one of the major title
of Jesus in the Qur'an is "the Spirit of God".
Dr. Ernie Beevers shared the Word of God. The second part of the meeting was
interaction and fellowship. Everybody enjoyed that.

We appreciate your prayer support. Although many of you could not come but
we believe that you were with us in spirit.
